I don't know how that name came to me - Grandma - for this piece, just seemed to have her type of wisdom. Multi-point, very interesting back/interior 'root' structure. I had gotten a Lot of these - good Smoky is hard to find - and these are not only perfectly colored, but very charmingly cut. They transmit light nicely, each have inclusions or little irregularities in side, but are mostly gem clear. They and can be grouped as lighter or darker (email us if you have a preference). We cannot photograph each individual item, but you can see the group they come out of - they're all nice.  Measurement is of one sample piece, they are all in that ballpark for size. Which you get depends on which is still available. My favorite, I call it 'besty.' Discounted substantially from the original price, these pieces are priced individually, are all pretty identical. We'll get you the "best one available."  They have a hole driven through them (vertically), you can either set it in a bezel or run a cord/metal rod through it to set up a bale for hanging. Unusual to find in this variety of Quartz. Smallish, but nice. So named because it is narrower than the others in the batch. Fairly pristine point (very minor dinging), lighter in color, and very tight, glassy formation, with striations on the side. A very fine wand, or laser, it's all the more rare, due to its origin in Colorado, USA.
While this piece has a great point with plenty of personality - it's named after its bottom - which is very jagged, tight, and glassy...really looks like a tooth...and the 'chip' on the top is due to the crystal's formation. Very nice palm piece. Very clear, but definitely Smoky too, the point is pretty flawless (but for a tiny ding). The base has nice jaggedy glassy 'ranges,' and it stand up slanted. Although the main attraction is the massive - awesome - semi standing Smoky, there are several green-black Tourmalines running through this substantial piece. This is priced to sell, and at $120 costs only .26 cents a gram. Message me with serious inquiries.
It's hard to tell with the photos, but there are 2 deep 'eye sockets' on this piece. It has an elongated, 8-sided face, with a tight, glassy Smoky bottom. Fascinating facing texture - subtle double point - and quasi sceptering make this a very special piece. Perfectly fits in the palm, and even has a rainbow in it. 'Bottom' or back end self healed. Great soft, glassy areas of facing. That area lower right is actually a gaping 'mouth' - but what makes this piece so special too - is it's pre-eminent 6-sidedness. A textbook skeletal, it's small, and also has the glassy, etched facing on the bottom.
Fairly pristine point (very minor dinging), rich color, and very tight, glassy formation, with striations on the side. Rotating it in your hand will reveal the fine detail of the extensive 'phantoming' in this piece, made all the more rare because of its origin in Colorado, USA. It's not just a Heart Chakra stone, on account of being Smoky, it's also a Source (higher vibration) stone, due to the quality and formations inside. It's rare that a DT can stand on its 'other end' termination(s) - this one does - and although it has the characteristic (for this piece, which gives it its name) 'sink hole,' it has a pretty well formed, extended, and clear point. Perfect palm piece, too. Message me with serious inquiries & Best Offers. So named because of the chip off the top point, this generator sits atop a self healed bottom. The glitter in that shot (of the bottom) almost shows that clearly, but you'd have to hold it, to see for yourself. Lots of translucency, very Herkimer'esque. Although it's tending towards being DT, there is a broken off base (like most crystals), but an interesting figure 8 sceptering. Large palm piece, also displays well, standing on its own (making it a leaning generator). Very interesting piece - the strong, glassy twin facing on top are great - but so too is the self healed, cratery bottom, which has a fissure running right up into the center of the piece. Looking down on it, it's 6 sided, but displays nicely as a slightly leaning double generator. The lower point is better formed, with a clean flat ridge, than the upper point. Length measurement is the longest, side to side dimension. Unique and stunning formation - a cross between Sapphire & Calcite termination - with a Milky Smoky Elestial base (not because its formation, but because of its essence). Note the small point coming out of one side of the base. Width & Depth are at base. Height is top to bottom, as displayed. Length is the longest distance, when measured end to end.
Smoky Quartz 'egg' pendant
Our Price: $158.00
Wonderful example of the Skeletal variety, quite choppy, with lots of air and light, but the base is very solid, glassy, and smoky. Intriguing 'keyhole' on this piece - which stands nicely (almost straight up) as a generator - and has a richly textured, harder (and Smoky), glassy base. Expertly wrapped in gold-filled wire (we take custom orders), this perfectly colored Smoky is the standard for this exceptional variety of Quartz. Weight & Dimensions include setting. Contact us if you'd like one of your pieces custom wrapped!
Although it displays well on its own - and fits nicely into the hand - this one has a more boxy feel than vertical. The Heart shaped section is striking, and unique. The base is all terminated, glassy, and Smoky. Message me with serious inquiries & Best Offers. These 2 fused, squat DT's make a new and amazing piece - perfectly fitting in the palm - and filled with skeletal and termination action. Message me with serious inquiries & Best Offers. Very good, clean, Smoky energy on this one - good laser too - and a true Cathedral quartz (you can see all that terminated siding). Uniform quality all around. Magical! Strongly recommended.
Smoky Quartz 'Afro' Buddha
Our Price: $220.00
Very tight, Herkimer like energy (and clarity), leaning generator, phenomenal piece. Self healed base makes it a floater, and it fits great in the palm. Message me with serious inquiries & Best Offers. What a gem! Three main points on top - all naturally connected - and with more ridges on the bottom...all terminated. Extraordinary configuration! Message me with serious inquiries & Best Offers. Delicious honey-Smoky color - this full bellied Buddha looks almost African - and makes for a wonderfully inspirational piece wherever placed!
Unique and stunning crossed-twin formation - terminations that resemble Sapphire & Calcite  - with a Milky Smoky Elestial 'base'...that happens to be self-healed, making the whole thing a combination floater and DT. Width & Depth are at base (not because its formation, but because of its essence). Height is top to bottom, as displayed. Length is the longest distance, when measured end to end. Exceptional, naturally standing Smoky Herkimer Diamond, with phenomenal rainbow, and all the textbook characteristics of a Skeletal Quartz (Elestial type facing, but icy caverns inside. It's gem quality, very glassy. Exceptional specimen! Double whammy, triple really - a Smoky point carved into a Skull, that's two great qualities - but a Skeletal too! Plus, it has a forest of layered, subtle record keepers on one of the point faces (see photo 3). Over a quarter of a pound...real find!
